Coverage Overview:
The Volvo Lifetime Parts & Labor Warranty applies exclusively to Volvo Genuine Parts installed by an authorized Volvo retailer. This warranty ensures that qualifying replacement parts are free from defects in material or workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle.
Exclusions:
This warranty does not cover accessories, normal wear items, or consumables. Examples of excluded components include, but are not limited to:

Batteries (including keyless entry batteries)

Timing belts and other drive belts

Filters (oil, air, cabin, fuel, etc.)

Brake pads and rotors (excluding runout)

Wiper blades
-
Spark plugs
-
Clutch linings
-
Tires (refer to the tire manufacturer's warranty)

Floor mats, upholstery, and carpeting
Eligibility & Limitations:

Coverage applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Proof of original purchase and installation at an authorized Volvo retailer is required for any warranty claim.

Parts replaced under a Volvo New Car Limited Warranty, Certified by Volvo Warranty, or Volvo VIP Extended Warranty are not covered under this program. In these cases, the remaining warranty balance or 90 days of coverage (whichever is greater) will apply.

This warranty does not apply to third-party purchasers, including independent repair facilities, body shops, or parts purchased over the counter that are not installed by an authorized Volvo retailer.

For these purchases, Volvo warrants the part itself (not labor) for two years from the date of purchase, covering defects in material or workmanship only.

Failures resulting from improper installation are not covered under any Volvo warranty.

Volvo Car USA, LLC warrants that each new Volvo Genuine Replacement Part (excluding accessories and consumables) installed by an authorized Volvo retailer will be free from defects in material or workmanship. This warranty does not cover parts that require replacement due to misuse, accident damage, environmental exposure, or any other outside influence.
