Coming standard for the S90 in 2022 is a four-cylinder engine that is turbocharged as well as supercharged. This allows the sedan to make 316 horsepower along with 295 lb-ft of torque. All models have an all-wheel drive, and the S90 utilizes an eight-speed automatic transmission. Not only is the engine powerful, but it also gets an estimated 31 mpg on the highway.
If you choose either the R-Design or Inscription trim level, the S90 can have the Recharge powertrain. This is a plug-in hybrid that gives the S90 400 horsepower and 472 lb-ft of torque to work with. We think you will enjoy the 21-mile estimated all-electric driving range that the Recharge powertrain gives you.
